General terms and conditions of business
The contractual partner for training, courses and seminars is Mahler-Scharf und de Fries GbR, Bahnhofstraße 17, 82327 Tutzing.
Registration for participation in events must be made in writing. You can make your binding registration via this website or by e‑mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. Telephone registrations must be confirmed by us in writing to be valid.
You will receive a written confirmation of registration. Your registration data will be stored electronically for internal purposes and not passed on to third parties. If an event is fully booked, we will contact you immediately and put you on our waiting list.
Our prices and fees include the statutory value added tax.
You can cancel your seminar booking. Please note that we charge the following processing fees:
Cancellation of seminar booking
- up to 28 calendar days before the start of the event: 10 % of the seminar fee
- up to the 7th calendar day before the start of the event: 50 % of the seminar fee
- until the 1st calendar day before the start of the event: 100 % of the seminar fee .
Even if a registered participant does not appear, the full seminar fee is due. You are allowed to prove that the Nanny Academy has not suffered any damage at all or that the damage is considerably lower than the cancellation fee claimed. In these cases, you are only obliged to pay the actual damage incurred by the Nanny Academy.
You can appoint a representative in place of the registered participant at any time. This does not incur any costs for you. Service contents
The seminar documents are issued as copyrighted texts and data, flow charts and materials. The documents are intended exclusively for personal use. Any reproduction, reprint or translation and transfer to third parties, in whole or in part, is not permitted without our express consent.
Subject to change
We are entitled to make necessary organisational, methodological or content-related changes. This applies both before and during the events, as long as the benefit for the participants is not substantially impaired. If necessary, we are also entitled to replace the speaker(s) with other equally qualified persons in the announced subject area.
Cancellation of events
If seminars, courses or events have to be cancelled for unforeseeable (for example, force majeure or sudden illness of the speaker) or organizational reasons (for example, too few participants), we will of course refund the participation fees already paid. This does not apply to already purchased and booked tickets or hotel bookings. We reserve the right to cancel a seminar up to four weeks before the seminar begins due to insufficient participation.
The defined seminar goals are achievable for attentive participants. However, we are not liable for success. Further liability and compensation claims are excluded, unless there is intent or gross negligence on our part. This and the above exclusion of liability do not apply to damages resulting from injury to life, body or health that are based on a negligent breach of duty by Christiane Mahler-Scharf und Birgit de Fries GbR or an intentional or negligent breach of duty by a legal representative or vicarious agent of Christiane Mahler-Scharf und Birgit de Fries GbR. The liability exclusions also do not apply to other damages that are based on a grossly negligent breach of duty by Christiane Mahler-Scharf und Birgit de Fries GbR or on an intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty by a legal representative or vicarious agent of Christiane Mahler-Scharf und Birgit de Fries GbR. The liability exclusions also do not apply to the violation of contractual cardinal obligations.
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies exclusively to this contract and its implementation. Even in the event of legal invalidity of individual provisions, the remaining parts of the conditions of participation shall remain binding. Ineffective conditions will be replaced by such conditions that come closest to the economic purpose of the ineffective ones. Agreements deviating from this contract are only valid if they are agreed in writing.
