Senior assistance

Senior assis­tants enable senior cit­i­zens to live in their famil­iar sur­round­ings as long as it is pos­si­ble. They are expe­ri­enced, empa­thet­ic and either trained or have expe­ri­ence in the field of senior care. The tasks of a Senior Assis­tant include lov­ing care, light house­hold tasks such as shop­ping, cook­ing, load­ing and unload­ing dish­wash­ers, emp­ty­ing dry­ers as well as light paper­work, coor­di­na­tion of appoint­ments, dri­ving and mes­sen­ger ser­vices, escorts on excur­sions, social events or trav­el companionship.

Salary lev­els vary accord­ing to qual­i­fi­ca­tion, expe­ri­ence, ref­er­ences and region.

More exten­sive house­keep­ing or clean­ing work is not part of the duties of a senior assis­tance and is cov­ered by the housekeeper.
